Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group in Billings, MT is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for our 40 Rooms department. This hourly role focuses on timely, high-quality room cleans while upholding safety and guest satisfaction standards.

You will work independently and with a team, with regular weekend availability to support peak stays and operations. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, and applicants must be able to lift up to 25-30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or similar cleaning role preferred but not required.
• Must communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing amenities
• Ensure all assigned rooms meet or exceed cleanliness and presentation standards within established timeframes
• Respond to guest requests related to housekeeping, amenities, and room needs in a professional and courteous manner
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items in guest rooms to the appropriate personnel
• Follow all cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and use of chemicals and equipment as trained
• Organize, stock, and maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Handle laundry-related tasks as needed, including collection, sorting, and delivery of linens and towels
• Coordinate with front desk and other team members to prioritize room turns and meet occupancy demands
• Adhere to company policies regarding lost and found items, privacy, and confidentiality
• Work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays to support operational and guest needs
