Sherman Associates is seeking a housekeeping professional for the Sherman Associates-owned Marriott location in Duluth, MN. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, restocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met.

No prior housekeeping experience is required, but customer service experience is preferred; must be 18+ and able to work varied shifts. We offer part-time or full-time opportunities with benefits; pay ranges from $16 to $16.50 per hour, based on experience and shift.

Qualifications

• No prior housekeeping experience required; customer service experience in hospitality strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a multilingual environment.
• Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Schedule may vary due to hotel needs.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, federal, state and local hotel laws regarding health and safety services.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms per standards to ensure availability.
• Report lost and found items from guest rooms and throughout hotel.
• Enter guest rooms following vacancy procedures before entry.
• Replace dirty linens and towels; make beds and clean bathrooms.
• Restock guest amenities and supplies in room.
• Remove trash and room service items.
• Check that appliances are present and working.
• Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care in rooms and corridors.
• Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Organize and stock cleaning cart and linen closets on assigned floors.
• Perform other duties as requested and assist teammates as needed.
• Report maintenance needs found in guest rooms while cleaning.
• Maintain clean and organized work and public areas; anticipate guest needs.
