Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles in hotels or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, buffing and polishing.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to cleanliness.
• Effective communication with team members and reporting issues clearly.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus but not required.

In this vital role, you will ensure that all public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Your proactive approach and enthusiasm will contribute to creating a welcoming, pristine environment for our guests and staff alike. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in the hospitality industry. This position will require 5 morning shifts; which includes working weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest corridors, lobbies, public restrooms, and other common areas to ensure a spotless environment.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces and guest amenities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Support housekeeping staff by delivering supplies, linens, and amenities throughout the hotel.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold hotel standards.
