Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to clean guest rooms according to our SOPs, remove trash, and maintain high standards across all areas. You will scrub bathrooms, clean kitchens and dining areas, and ensure furnishings are well maintained.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions, directions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to clean the minimum required rooms per shift.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and perform cleaning tasks with arm reach.
• Ability to step in and perform various housekeeping positions as needed.
• Ability to visually inspect rooms and areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in stressful situations with time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to company SOPs.
• Remove trash and debris from guest rooms and surroundings.
• Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards.
• Clean bathrooms including tub, toilet, sinks, and fixtures.
• Clean kitchen/dining areas and surfaces.
• Vacuum and wash floors per SOPs.
• Dust and polish furnishings and appliances.
• Maintain exterior cleanliness around rooms.
• Notify supervisor of room readiness and safety issues.
• Restock housekeeping carts and operate equipment as directed.
• Report guest concerns to supervisor and provide superior service.
