Job summary

RRI West Management, LLC's Red Roof Inn Salem is seeking dependable housekeepers to ensure clean, comfortable guest rooms. This full-time role offers starting pay $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, weekend and holiday shifts, and weekly pay.

You will welcome guests, clean rooms and public areas, change linens, sanitize bathrooms, and communicate needs to the Front Desk. No prior experience required, bilingual helpful; full benefits and $500 sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and reach as part of daily duties.
• Bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with housekeeping-related requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and designated public areas in accordance with company standards.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Ensure every assigned room is clean, maintained, and guest ready.
• Respond to housekeeping-related guest requests promptly to Front Desk.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow dress code.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to ensure timely room readiness.

• Position: Housekeeping- Full Time
• Starting Pay: $17.00 to $18.00/ hour, based on experience.
• Start time: 9am to ?- depending on when rooms are completed.
• Weekly Pay
• Bonus: $500.00 Sign-On Bonus
• Holidays and Weekends Required.

Red Roof Inn Salem is looking for dependable, detail-oriented housekeepers to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms.

Sign- On Bonus- $500.00

This is paid out in three instalments:

• $100 after 30 days of employment
• $150 after 90 days of employment
• $250 after 6 months of employment

Sign-on bonus payments are subject to the company’s eligibility and employment requirements.

Previous hotel housekeeping or customer service experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to consider dependable candidates who have a strong work ethic and are ready to learn.

Bilingual English and Spanish skills are helpful but not required.

What does a day as one of our Housekeepers look like?

As a housekeeper, you will help make sure our guests have a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome guests and assist with housekeeping-related requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and designated public areas in accordance with company and brand standards.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Ensure every assigned room is clean, maintained, and guest ready.
• Respond to housekeeping-related guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Communicate room concerns, maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items promptly to the Front Desk.
• Maintain a professional appearance while following company dress code and grooming standards.
• Work closely with the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to ensure rooms are prepared on time.
• Follow all company safety, cleanliness, and service standards.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
