Job summary

Maverick Gaming LLC in Colorado is seeking a hotel housekeeper to keep guest rooms and public areas clean. You will stock carts, strip beds, manage laundry, and maintain a safe, spotless environment to ensure guest satisfaction. Shifts include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to follow security policies and procedures.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and reliability with minimal supervision.
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Superior guest relation skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Stock maid carts throughout the day and at end of day.
• Strip all beds in a timely fashion on both floors.
• Move laundry bins from P-1 as needed.
• Keep shelves stocked in the housekeeping office.
• Clean vending, ice area and elevator lobbies throughout the day.
• Clear laundry bags and transport dirty linen as required.
• Vacuum hallways on Thursdays to Mondays; edge carpet as scheduled.
• Stock supplies as needed and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maid Carts stocked throughout the day and at end of day.
• Stripping all beds in timely fashion on both floors.
• Laundry bins brought up from P-1.
• Housekeeping office shelves are fully stocked at end of day.
• Vending/Ice area and Elevator Lobbies cleaned throughout the day.
• Laundry bags for dirty linen are cleared throughout the day.
• All bins more than half full of dirty laundry are taken to P-1 by end of day.
• Hallways are vacuumed Thursday-Monday.
• Monday and Thursday the hallway carpet edging is vacuumed with backpack vacuum.
• Supplies stocked as needed.
• Maintain a commitment to guest satisfaction and exemplary guest service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment. Identify unsafe practices or conditions and inform supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment.
• Remove trash on a continuous basis throughout the hotel.
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous housekeeping experience and knowledge that includes:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Must be able to follow security policies and procedures and report all violations.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Superior guest relation skills are necessary.

Salary $17.29 - $19.00/hr
