Job summary

Maverick-Colorado-LLC is seeking a dedicated janitorial team member in Central City, CO. You will stock carts, strip beds, manage laundry, and keep public areas clean throughout the day, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must follow security policies and report all violations.
• Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Superior guest relation skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maid Carts stocked throughout the day and at end of day.
• Stripping all beds in timely fashion on both floors.
• Laundry bins brought up from P-1.
• Housekeeping office shelves are fully stocked at end of day.
• Vending/Ice area and Elevator Lobbies cleaned throughout the day.
• Laundry bags for dirty linen are cleared throughout the day.
• All bins more than half full of dirty laundry are taken to P-1 by end of day.
• Hallways are vacuumed Thursday-Monday.
• Hallway carpet edging vacuumed with backpack vacuum on Monday and Thursday.
• Supplies stocked as needed.
• Maintain a commitment to guest satisfaction and exemplary guest service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety procedures.

• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment.
• Remove trash on a continuous basis throughout the hotel.
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Must be able to follow security policies and procedures and report all violations.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Superior guest relation skills are necessary.

Salary $17.29 - $19.00/hr
