Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services is seeking an Accounting Manager (Group & Airline) to support Kimpton Era Midtown's financial operations. You will oversee group billing, reconciliations, and cash management while collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure accurate ledgers and timely collections.

The role requires 1–2 years in hotel accounting, experience with PMS, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Base salary reflects market standards for this NYC posting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Hospitality accounting background with group/ airline ledgers is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage group master accounts, group billings, and airline ledger accounts.
• Apply payments, process adjustments, and issue guest folio corrections and statements.
• Manage daily posting masters reconciliations and update daily logs.
• Address billing inquiries with professional service and dispute resolution.
• Perform daily reconciliations and audits, including balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain cash banks, execute daily deposits, and perform monthly cash audits.
• Support Accounts Payable and payroll reporting as needed.
