Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction, and deliver strong financial performance. The GM will partner with department leaders to maximize revenue, control costs, and uphold brand standards while fostering a high-performing team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hospitality leadership, a Bachelor's in Hospitality or related field, and CHA designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive hospitality leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and cost control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all hotel operations and performance.
• Achieve and exceed financial goals, revenue targets, and budgets.
• Develop short- and long-range financial and operational objectives.
• Oversee payroll, purchasing, and expense controls to maximize profitability.
• Maintain policy compliance with brand standards and procedures.

• Promote exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
• Lead sales and marketing efforts to maximize occupancy and revenue.
