Job summary

Dynamic Group Management seeks a select service General Manager with Marriott experience for a hotel in the Hixson area. The GM will direct hotel operations, guest services, staff development, and financial performance to drive profitability.

The ideal candidate has Marriott experience, a strong leadership presence, proven revenue growth, and the ability to build internal teams and guest relations while ensuring compliance with brand standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven hotel management experience, preferably in select-service or branded hotels.
• Proven track record in improving guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Degree in hospitality management or related field.
• Experience with Marriott brands is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Maintain brand standards and guest satisfaction; address concerns and resolve issues.
• Develop and manage budgets, track revenue, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities to increase profitability.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop the front desk staff to support selling techniques and promotions.
• Foster positive relationships with guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage budgetary expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
• Establish and maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Provide Revenue Management with market analysis of competitors’ rates and forecast local market conditions.
• Support sales efforts as directed by Management and corporate sales organization.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; full PMS knowledge including FOSSEE.
