Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations as per the organizational chart.
• Hold regular briefings and meetings with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Handle guest complaints and oversee service recovery procedures.
• Prepare, present, and achieve the hotel's annual operating budget, marketing and sales plan, and capital budget.
• Manage the hotel's profitability, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met or exceeded.
• Make decisions in the best interest of the hotel and management.
• Develop improvement actions and implement cost-saving measures.
• Understand P&L statements and react with impactful strategies.
• Monitor daily business reports and make informed decisions.
• Ensure monthly financial outlooks for various departments are accurate and on target.
• Maximize room yield and revenue through innovative sales and yield management.
• Procure operating supplies and equipment; manage vendor contracts.
• Act as the final decision-maker in hiring key staff.
• Oversee all departments and work closely with department heads daily.
• Take ownership of guest complaints and departmental responsibilities.
• Provide effective leadership to the hotel team.
• Maintain quality standards through internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, occupational health and safety, and fire regulations.

Prerequisites
