Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for completing arrival and departure transactions for guests checking in/out of the hotelupholding the resorts' luxury standards. Additionally, Front Desk Ambassadors are to address all guestquestions and concerns with an upbeat and positive attitude, escalating to management when needed. This position works closely with the Housekeeping department to ensure rooms are clean prior to issuing keys. Responsible for posting charges, settling folios for individuals, groups and due outs communicated through Housekeeping.

Essential Functions:

• 1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promotingour values.
• 2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
• 3. Greet all guests warmly and professionally during all interactions.
• 4. Perform all check-in functions according to hotel policies and procedures, including, but not limited toearly check-ins, late check-ins, and walk-ins, and collect proper payment.
• 5. Perform all check-out functions according to hotel policies and procedures, including, but not limited toaccepting payment by check, charge, cash and direct bill payments.
• 6. Generate and distribute all required reports, including, but not limited to room reports, bucket checksand VIP reports.
• 7. Activate keys for guests in accordance with security and system procedures.
• 8. Answer phones quickly, courteously and in a professional manner.
• 9. Post charges to guest's accounts as required during guests stay and at check out.
• 10. Be prepared and accurately answer guest questions regarding current operation details for all resortrestaurants, services, and events.
• 11. Maintain confidentiality in all hotel operations including guest information and activities.
• 12. Maintain the Hotel business center equipment and required materials to allow guests to be able to printor fax.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written andverbal form. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English.

• 5. Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions, make decisions without supervision, and prioritizetasks to meet appropriate deadlines.

• 8. Be able to work under pressure and complete assignments in a timely manner.
• 9. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team (including other departments).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This job has the following physical requirements:
1. Ability to stand for full duration of shift.
2. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
3. Must be able to Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 50 pounds.
4. Ability to sit, walk, climb, bend, balance, and kneel intermittently for the duration of the shift.
5. Reaching above the shoulders and other hand/arm use through the duration of the shift.

Work Conditions:

Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke.Work may be performed in small areas with 3 feet of access. Tasks performed from a sitting or non‑ sittingposition. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling andgrasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trainedchemical usage. Constant contact with other Team Members and Guests.
