Shore Hotel is seeking a part-time Busperson and Food Runner for its Shoreside Restaurant in Santa Monica, CA. You will support servers, deliver food, maintain cleanliness, and reset tables to ensure smooth service flow with courteous, professional hospitality.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a fast-paced dining room while adhering to hotel policies and guest expectations. Prior FOH experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior free-standing restaurant or food and beverage hotel experience is preferred.
• Good verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clear used plates, glassware, utensils and linens from tables promptly.
• Reset tables quickly and according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain dining room and service stations cleanliness.
• Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service when appropriate.
• Assist servers with water service and table maintenance.
• Ensure tables are set with clean utensils, napkins and condiments.
• Transport dishes to the dishwashing area and polish glassware.
• Stock service stations with supplies and maintain floors and dining areas.
• Communicate with kitchen staff regarding order status and special requests.
• Uphold service standards and professional hospitality.
