Job summary

Hotel Centro Sonoma is seeking a Dual Accounting Manager to support the General Manager in maintaining and controlling the property's financial operations. This role coordinates onsite accounting functions and collaborates with Sales and Operations to ensure accurate accounting support.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hospitality accounting experience, with a preference for property-level hospitality accounting and hotel/resort backgrounds. Requires strong Excel and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent education required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years accounting experience required.
Property level hospitality accounting experience strongly preferred.
Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.
Must be able to travel on occasion, as needed.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate onsite accounting functions and serve as liaison for corporate requests.
Verify accuracy and timeliness of finance functions including payroll, AP/AR, and cash management.
Prepare monthly P&L, SOI, GL and Balance Sheet packages.
Process taxation, licensing filings, and assist auditors.
Develop cost controls and monitor budgeted operating results.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training.
