Job summary

The Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Finance to support the Director of Finance in leading the property's daily financial and accounting operations. The ADOF will oversee AR, AP, income audit, cash management, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting, partnering with hotel leadership to ensure accuracy and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a background in hospitality finance, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3–5

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Experience supervising or leading teams a plus.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Finance in leading daily financial operations.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Audit, cash management and reconciliations.
• Drive month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
