Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks an Associate Director of Finance for the Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort. The role supports the Director of Finance in directing financial activities, safeguarding assets, and preparing financial reports to HEI standards.

The successful candidate will oversee accounting functions, manage A/R, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist in producing timely statements for hotel management and corporate requirements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting.
• One year experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Finance and Accounting.
• Knowledge of Hotel Financial Statements and reconciliation of A and L accounts.
• Analytical approach to problems with high regard for detail and accuracy.
• Sound administrative and managerial skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills.
• Have proficient training, coaching, and counseling abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Finance in directing financial activities.
• Effectively schedule, monitor, and evaluate controllable departmental expenditures.
• Establish and monitor scheduling of all accounting associates.
• Prepare and review financial statements within designated time frames.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and cash flow processes.
