Job summary

The Saint Paul Hotel in Minnesota is seeking an accounting professional to oversee all aspects of the hotel’s accounting process, including accounts payable/receivable, income audit, month-end close, and monthly forecasting.

This role requires 3–5 years in hospitality accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel and Sage experience, and the ability to train staff and ensure policy compliance. You will work with property managers on forecasting and support the annual budgeting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in hotel/hospitality accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts receivable and intercompany rebills.
• Reconcile bank activity daily and GL accounts monthly.
• Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare monthly financial packets and revenue reports.
• Assist with budgeting and monthly forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
