Job summary

HVMG is seeking an Area Director of Finance to oversee the hotel’s budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. You will partner with department leaders to drive profitability and ensure accurate financial performance, while leading a high-performing finance team.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a track record of managing financial operations for a hospitality property.

Qualifications

• College degree or two years of hotel experience is required, with prior finance exposure preferred.
• Experience leading a finance team and collaborating with department leaders.
• Certifications such as CMA/CPA are a plus and may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance for the hotel.
• Partner with department heads to drive profitability and financial performance.
• Lead and develop the hotel finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financials.
• Report to the General Manager or Regional Director of Finance and align with corporate standards.
