Job summary

The Westin Dallas Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, in Frisco, TX, seeks an Assistant Controller to help direct financial activities, safeguard assets, and prepare reports consistent with HEI standards.

You will handle night audit support, AP/AR processes, city ledger, credit card reconciliations, and vendor inquiries while ensuring accuracy and timely payments. A Bachelor's in Accounting is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Accounting and Hotel experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to compile facts and figures.
• Ability to operate personal computer and calculator.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing financial activities and safeguarding assets.
• Post city ledger payments and reconcile accounts.
• Reconcile credit card backups and maintain logs.
• Process approved invoices for payment and ensure proper approvals.
• Ensure purchase orders align with invoices and maintain PO log.
• Maintain open and vendor inquiry files; resolve discrepancies.
• Attend to attendance rules and perform other duties.
