TownePlace Suites by Marriott Buffalo Airport is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team at TownePlace Suites Buffalo Airport. The role involves upkeep of the hotel property and assisting the Chief Engineer.

Typical duties include basic repairs, painting, plumbing and electrical work, pool operations, and preventative maintenance. The position offers a full-time schedule with competitive benefits through Buffalo Lodging.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance/mechanic experience in a hotel or related field.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, lift, push, carry and pull up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs, painting, wall covering, plumbing and electrical work.
• Maintain pool and spa areas in compliance with regulations.
• Record and maintain preventative maintenance logs as required by brand standards.
• Clean internal areas and keep facilities and parking areas tidy.
