Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-high school training in engineering or maintenance-related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of building maintenance experience; hotel experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong communication skills and guest interaction.
• Familiarity with safety and lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve issues independently.
• Conduct daily inspections to identify safety hazards and needed repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate records.
• Operate engineering software for PM and energy management.
• Maintain safe storage and use of tools; keep work areas clean.
• Assist with general housekeeping and engineering-related duties as needed.
