Northeastern University seeks a Director of Facilities to lead the Portland, Maine campus operations. You will oversee maintenance, grounds, and a contracted IFM provider to ensure safe, reliable campus services and compliant operations.

You will define service levels, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and scale the facilities function as the campus expands toward 2028. The role requires a strong leadership presence and extensive facilities management experience.

Qualificações

• Ten or more years of related experience, including managing outsourced/IFM contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience interpreting codes/regulations and applying university policy in facilities.
• Strong budgets development and financial reporting experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendor relationships simultaneously.
• Comfortable interacting with executives, on-site staff, and university leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance and operations for the Portland campus.
• Oversee campus IFM contract and ensure scope, plan, and budget alignment.
• Develop budgets, resource plans, and reporting dashboards.
• Scale facilities operations with growth and future team expansion.
• Maintain safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and campus staff to deliver consistent service.
