University of New England seeks a Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations for the Portland Campus, overseeing maintenance, grounds, utilities, and safety. You will translate priorities into work plans, staffing, and schedules while coordinating with vendors and campus partners.

The role requires strong operational judgment, technical knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a large, multi-building environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Six years of facilities management experience with at least three years in supervision.
• Experience leading trades, grounds, and contractor teams in a complex building environment.
• Experience managing operating and project budgets and vendor contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day facilities operations for the Portland Campus.
• Supervise approximately 10 Facilities Management employees and contracted staff.
• Plan preventive, routine, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, and building automation.
• Manage budgets exceeding 2.1M annually and forecast expenses.
• Coordinate facilities repair, renovation, and infrastructure projects from planning to closeout.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships and review invoices.
• Identify deferred maintenance and capital renewal needs for planning and investment.
