Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer to perform general maintenance to uphold hotel standards and guest satisfaction. You will handle preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and routine servicing of equipment across hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Experience with drywall repair or willingness to learn.
• Familiar with HVAC systems.
• Maintain professional appearance and manner.
• Able to communicate well with guests.
• Willing to help co-workers and be a team player.
• Climbing, reading, standing, walking, basic tool use, and lifting 25–50 lbs may be required.
• Receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Check electrical systems and perform minor repairs.
• Assist in repairs of hotel equipment (appliances, kitchen, laundry, HVAC, plumbing).
• Service the hotel pool and maintain logs.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.
• Expose to extreme temperatures.
• Operate heavy machinery.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
