Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Engineer Tech to maintain the building and ensure safe, efficient operation of hotel facilities. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously while upholding health and safety guidelines.

The technician will perform electrical, plumbing, heating, and carpentry tasks, support housekeeping, and coordinate with maintenance leadership to keep rooms and public areas in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pool and spa are operated safely and compliantly with health regulations.
• Survey building and repair mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, fixtures, windows).
• Conduct ongoing room preventative maintenance program.
• Resolve maintenance problems, complaints and work orders.
• General upkeep (landscaping, caulking, painting).
• Work with Housekeeping to ensure guest room equipment is functioning and part of preventive maintenance.
