Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks an Engineer to maintain and optimize building systems, ensuring guest comfort and safety. You will diagnose, repair, and prevent issues across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and plumbing networks while supporting a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates will have EPA Section 608 certification, 3+ years in similar settings, and strong troubleshooting, communication, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• HVAC and refrigeration system maintenance expertise.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and maintenance manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across building systems.
• Excellent communication with guests, associates and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize hotel building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
• Diagnose and repair facility issues to minimize downtime and ensure guest comfort.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections to extend equipment life and reliability.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests while upholding hospitality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, refrigerant handling).
