Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in San Antonio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment. You will monitor central plant operations, service HVAC equipment, and support other technicians as needed.

This role requires at least two years in hotel or commercial building maintenance, with experience in kitchen and laundry equipment and emergency response. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum hotel and/or commercial building maintenance experience.
• One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience required.
• Emergency situation response experience required.
• Good communication and guest satisfaction skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; crawl, bend, reach overhead, squat, kneel.
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Central Plant Operations, perform daily readings and testing.
• Maintain all HVAC equipment in guest rooms, public areas, function rooms.
• Provide technical assistance to other technicians as necessary.
• Work on other equipment as needed.
• Maintain HVAC supplies inventory and place orders.
• Understand Omni fire alarm procedures and hotel rules and regulations.
• Responsible for all water treatment.
• Maintain accurate refrigerant logs.
• Understand HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout and Bloodborne Pathogen programs.
• Be universally certified in Refrigerant Recovery.
• Hold required licenses as required.
• Ensure work area is clean and clear of hazards to perform duties safely.
