Extell Hospitality Services is seeking an Engineer for Canopy by Hilton Deer Valley in Park City, UT. The role focuses on general maintenance and rapid resolution of issues to maximize guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of maintenance experience in hotels or commercial properties, with skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. A flexible schedule in a 24/7 operation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or certification in a skilled trade preferred.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in hotel or commercial property.
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in guest rooms, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests to protect guest experience.
• Maintain public areas, lobby, and back-of-house spaces.
• Assist Chief Engineer with monitoring major hotel equipment (boilers, chillers, kitchen gear).
• Log and track repairs, preventative tasks, and materials used.
• Uphold safety, compliance, and brand standards.
