Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent trade school; special courses in building maintenance and construction.
• Experience: Two years prior experience in building maintenance or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently in a safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment (kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, guest rooms).
• Monitor and cover engineering functions when full staff is not available (weekends/evenings).
• Respond to emergencies including fire alarms, threats, disasters, and power failures; notify authorities.
• Audit rounds to ensure systems are in working order and document parts used and needed.
• Maintain logs and records; assist with parking lot maintenance and snow removal as needed.
