Job summary

The Chattanoogan Hotel in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician - Exterior Team Member to maintain the building exterior and grounds. You will perform preventative maintenance, pressure washing, painting, leaf blowing, trash removal, staining, landscaping, and related tasks while ensuring safety and cleanliness for guests and staff.

Ideal candidates are organized, communicative, and able to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and communicate with guests and team members.
• Preferred 1 year related experience or training.
• Must be flexible with shifts and able to work outdoors/in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Identify exterior maintenance issues and initiate work orders.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain project logs.
• Repair, paint, landscaping, and grounds beautification as needed.
• Assist with custodial work and ensure hotel standards and guest satisfaction.
• Cross-train in all department tasks and follow safety policies.
