Job summary

Hilton Providence is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, set schedules, and uphold high standards across rooms and public areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; hospitality degree/related field a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role in housekeeping.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for staff and guests.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to address issues promptly and effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning standards and safety practices.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Flexibility to work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and staff.
• Create daily department schedules and assign duties.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Implement ongoing training and program improvements.
• Set and enforce cleaning standards; monitor cleanliness of rooms and public areas.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate procurement.
• Monitor budgets and control costs within approved limits.
• Address guest complaints related to housekeeping and improve guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with front desk and other departments for accurate room status.
• Report maintenance issues and liaise with maintenance for timely repairs.
