Job summary

Graduate by Hilton Richmond, part of Kalyan Hospitality, is seeking a Hotel Sales and Catering Manager. You will lead sales for meetings, catering, weddings, and social events, developing proactive strategies and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include presenting venues, crafting proposals, negotiating packages, and coordinating with Food & Beverage, Banquets, Front Office, and other departments to deliver exceptional events. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive sales strategies for meetings, catering, weddings, and social events.
• Respond promptly to catering and event inquiries.
• Prospect for new business via direct calls, networking, referrals and events.
• Build relationships with local businesses, wedding planners, event professionals, and partners.
• Prepare proposals, BEOs, and event orders; coordinate with departments.
• Negotiate pricing and packages within guidelines.
• Upsell enhancements and manage catering revenue goals.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline with follow-ups.
