Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Event Planning Manager to oversee hotel event sales and planning, coordinating with clients and hotel staff to deliver flawless events. The role focuses on servicing Sales and Event Sales bookings and acting as the liaison between client and hotel teams.

The position requires coordination of agreements, food and beverage details, and A/V needs, with on-site management and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning experience, preferably in the luxury social market.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Sales agreement and coordinate all event details.
• Detail Food, Beverage and A/V needs for each event.
• Host site visits and tastings with clients.
• Manage room blocks and pickup logistics.
• Ensure smooth on-site execution of events and post-event follow-up.
• Conduct final billing review after events.

The Event Planning Manager's primary focus is servicing Sales and Event Sales bookings. This position acts as a liaison between the client and the hotel staff.

The Event Planning Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to : administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, hosting sites and tastings, managing room blocks and pick up, ensuring a smooth execution of the event as well as post event follow up and final billing review.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others. Refined verbal and written communication skills

A minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning preferably in the luxury social market

Must be proficient in general computer knowledge

Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and beable to handle a fast-paced environment

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Must be able to collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure detailed information is clearly understood and communicated properly

Balance management of on-site events and upcoming events simultaneously

Willingness to work late nights, evenings and weekends
