Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton Norwood is seeking a friendly server to support banquet and restaurant service in a busy hotel setting. You will prepare coffee breaks, assist with food and beverage setups, and help ensure guests receive prompt, courteous service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with sales and F&B teams, stocking break areas, and maintaining break stations and equipment. Prior hotel or banquet server experience is desirable, and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of server experience in a restaurant setting.
• Experience in a hotel/banquet/bistro is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Able to handle difficult situations with professionalism and courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Supply and maintain the conference guest coffee break areas.
• Obtain BEO information for group breaks and set up/break down food and beverage offerings.
• Make a large amount of coffee using commercial coffeemakers several times a day.
• Procure break items from bakery and stock breakfast items as instructed on the BEO.
• Observe and maintain all break areas and equipment throughout conferences.
• Set up and maintain F&B offerings and equipment.
• Coordinate with sales/F&B manager about guest break times and needs.
• Stock and replenish back-of-house supplies for continuous service.
