Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 2-3 years' experience in a hotel or related industry.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
• Knowledge of hotel fire standards and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform tasks from ladders and under equipment.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to meet standards and codes.
• Monitor building systems overnight and address issues promptly.
• Respond quickly to guest service requests and maintenance emergencies.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed, system performance, and incidents during the shift.
• Repair hotel guest rooms under the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Report broken or misused equipment to Engineering Manager or Director.
• Ensure safety systems are operable and follow health and safety regulations.
• Assist in maintaining department inventory and reporting needed supplies.
