Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Evansville, IN seeks an Engineering Manager to ensure the hotel remains in excellent working order and meets all operational standards for the Engineering Department.

You will conduct walk-throughs of maintenance and operation of hotel systems and equipment, maintain preventive maintenance records for rooms and public areas, work with the general manager and management team, and hire/train/supervise staff while ensuring grounds and safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Maintain and manage engineering department operations.
• Conduct walk-throughs of hotel systems and equipment.
• Oversee preventive maintenance for rooms and public areas.
• Hire, train, supervise and coach associates and managers.
• Ensure grounds are maintained and safety policies followed (OSHA HazCom, evacuations).

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel operates to established standards within the Engineering Department.
• Conduct regular walk-throughs and assessments of maintenance and operation of hotel structure, systems and equipment.
• Maintain Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance Program and keep records updated.
• Collaborate with hotel management and General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates, including managers.

• Responsible for Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance Program and consistently keep updated records.
• Works with all hotel management team and property General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates, including managers.
• Ensure grounds are maintained in order to provide great arrival experience.
• Implement hotel's safety and emergency policies and procedures (i.e. evacuations, first aid, etc.) including removal of all safety hazards, following company's OSHA Hazcom program and safe lifting techniques.
