Job summary

Remington Hotels is seeking a Senior Engineer/Chief Engineer to lead the hotel's engineering department on-site. You will oversee preventative maintenance, ensure operating standards, and coordinate with hotel leadership to maintain top-tier facilities.

You will hire, train, supervise and coach associates, manage safety programs per OSHA HazCom, and maintain detailed maintenance records to support a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hotel maintenance teams and ensuring high operating standards.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and routine inspections.
• Ability to develop and enforce safety policies and procedures (OSHA HazCom).
• Strong record-keeping and reporting to support facilities management.

• Ensure the hotel is in great working order and meets Engineering Department standards.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance and operation of hotel structures, systems, and equipment.
• Oversee Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance and maintain updated records.

• Ensure grounds are maintained to provide a superior arrival experience.
• Implement hotel's safety and emergency policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

• Making sure the hotel is in great working order! Works to meet all operational standards related to the Engineering Department.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assessment of maintenance and operation of the hotel structure, systems and equipment.
• Responsible for Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance Program and consistently keep updated records.
• Works with all hotel management team and property General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates, including managers.
• Ensure grounds are maintained in order to provide great arrival experience.
• Implement hotel's safety and emergency policies and procedures (i.e. evacuations, first aid, etc.) including removal of all safety hazards, following company's OSHA Hazcom program and safe lifting techniques.
