Concord Hospitality's Renaissance Raleigh Hotel in Raleigh, NC seeks a seasoned Chief Engineer to lead the property engineering team, oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance, and drive reliable hotel operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hotel engineering or maintenance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, life safety, fire protection, and HVAC.
• Experience leading, training, and developing maintenance staff in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with safety and compliance standards, including OSHA and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage repairs and routine maintenance of hotel systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical).
• Oversee inventory, procurement, budgeting, safety compliance, and inspections/certifications.
• Ensure safety standards for guests and secure working environment for associates.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate engineering staff; promote team development.
• Maintain compliance with Concord Hospitality standards and protocols.
• Communicate with General Manager, corporate leaders, and ownership about property conditions, needs, and safety concerns.
• Lead safety programs, preventive maintenance schedules, and energy conservation initiatives.
• Support Leadership Development Training and foster growth and accountability.
