Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering team and oversee facilities, safety, and operations. This role combines technical expertise with strong team leadership to manage preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs and projects.

The position requires night, weekend, and holiday availability with a focus on guest safety and service excellence in a busy full-service hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of Engineering or Maintenance Management experience.
• Experience in luxury or full-service hotel environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the hotel engineering and maintenance team.
• Oversee daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the hotel facilities and grounds.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure maintenance tasks and inspections are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects, repairs, renovations, and improvements.
