Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Engineer Manager to oversee maintenance operations for our New Orleans property. You will manage the preventative maintenance program, lead the engineering team, and ensure high standards for guest rooms and public spaces while aligning with safety and cost-control goals.

The role requires supervisory experience, applicable trade certifications, and a strong ability to analyze and resolve issues under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in hotel maintenance or related field.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current trade certifications (HVAC, boiler) as required by authorities.
• Valid driver's license for the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet standards.
• Oversee Preventative Maintenance program and schedule.
• Supervise hourly Engineering staff and coordinate scheduling.
• Review payroll hours and report to accounting.
• Respond to emergencies and use MSD sheets.
• Manage energy expenses and drive cost controls.
• Ensure safety procedures and fire safety compliance.
• Attend meetings and train staff on safety and procedures.

5+ years hotel maintenance experience
