Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork.
• Flexible to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• State certification/licensure as required for the role.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel is in great working order, meeting all Engineering Department standards.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance and operation of hotel systems and equipment.
• Manage Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance program and keep records updated.
• Collaborate with hotel management and General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates including managers.
• Maintain grounds to provide a superior arrival experience and enforce safety policies.
