Job summary

Hei Hotels Inc. is seeking a Chief Engineer for a full-time on-site role at our Lake Buena Vista property in Orlando, FL. You will oversee preventive maintenance, life safety, utilities, and capital projects to protect assets and guests while ensuring brand standards and budget compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, plus leadership and budgeting skills. Hotel operations knowledge and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or training in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience at a comparable location.
• Hotel/hospitality experience preferred.
• Leadership and budgeting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive maintenance and repairs of property and equipment.
• Monitor life safety systems and utilities to protect assets and guests.
• Oversee capital projects and ensure adherence to budget and brand standards.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate engineering staff for productivity and safety.
• Maintain accurate records for PM, RandM, and inspections.
