Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Director of Engineering and Facilities to lead the facilities maintenance engineers and guide CMMS implementations, with a focus on interfacing maintenance with other departments. The role requires delivering weekly updates to the VP and developing a best-in-class facilities program, with hotel experience preferred.

Qualifications include 10 years in facilities management (7+ in leadership), BS in engineering, strong communication, and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10 years in Facilities Management with 7+ years leading others.
• Travel 50% both in-state and out-of-state; position based in Colorado corporate office.
• BS in Engineering or comparative work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present information to groups.
• Computer literacy including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong math/calculation abilities.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance rules for maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hotel chief engineers, managers, and maintenance staff to implement standards and best practices across the portfolio.
• Support local maintenance teams to improve consistency of operations and provide technical knowledge for building systems.
• Oversee CMMS compliance, preventative maintenance tasks, inventory and resource management.
• Analyze performance trends by region using reports and develop improvement plans with engineers.
• Oversee budgets, CAPEX and expense projects, bid processes, start-ups and completion phases.
• Provide weekly project and expenditure status reports, including overtime and labor details.
• Assist in responding to seasonal needs, high-volume events, and staffing changes; support new properties.
• Mentor maintenance teams and assist engineers in implementing proven initiatives.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding for engineering/maintenance staff.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
