Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee the maintenance operations at The Marker San Francisco. The ideal candidate will manage preventative maintenance, team development, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.

The preferred candidate will have over 4 years of experience in a hotel setting, strong knowledge of building infrastructure, and vendor management skills. This role offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $150,000 annually, along with an attractive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Director of Engineering, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Strong knowledge of Preventative Maintenance programs and building infrastructure management.
• Prior experience managing vendor relationships and sourcing competitive project bids.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement a robust Preventative Maintenance program.
• Lead, train, and manage the engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Source, review, and approve vendor contracts and service agreements.
