Job summary

PM Hotel Group is seeking a Director of Engineering for the Hilton Garden Inn Opryland Nashville. You will oversee all maintenance and capital projects, ensuring the hotel remains in top condition and compliant with safety standards.

You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate with department heads, and manage preventative maintenance programs to prevent outages and disruptions. Strong hotel operations experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience in a hotel.
• Experience across HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.
• Able to work in a high‑pace environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis and lead capital projects and property rehabilitation.
• Communicate maintenance needs with hotel department heads to ensure timely response.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and lead all maintenance staff.
