Job summary

Hilton is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to help drive safety, reliability, and guest experiences across our properties. You’ll partner with the Director to oversee facilities, mechanical and electrical systems, life safety, and regulatory compliance while spreading the light and warmth of hospitality.

Lead a high-performing team, manage maintenance, capital projects, and vendor relationships, and ensure inspections and repairs meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner in leading facility operations: Direct functionality, safety, and compliance of buildings and systems in accordance with regs
• Oversee facility maintenance: Inspect and supervise electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems maintenance and repairs
• Support property improvement projects: Direct capital projects and property rehabilitations including scheduling, budgeting, bidding, licensing/permitting
• Oversee work order fulfillment: Ensure routine maintenance and repairs are assigned, verified, and documented
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Communicate with officials to maintain permits, inspections, and safety standards
• Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management and development programs
