Grand Hyatt Nashville is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems across hotel facilities. You will support guest safety and comfort while ensuring uninterrupted operation of essential systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and coordination with hotel departments. A strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance is required, with excellent documentation of work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Experience as an electrician, preferably in hotel, resort, or commercial setting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, lighting, power outlets, panels, and controls throughout the hotel.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Respond to guest room and facility maintenance requests.
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement safe repairs.
• Maintain emergency systems including generators and emergency lighting.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and hotel departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and repairs.
• Assist with renovations, upgrades, and new installations.
