Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems across hotel facilities. You will support guests and staff by ensuring safe, uninterrupted operation and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, detail-orientation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid license/certification and hotel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma and relevant electrical license/certification.
• Experience in hotel, resort, or commercial settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits and safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, lighting, outlets, panels, and controls throughout the hotel.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest room and facility maintenance requests.
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement safe, effective repairs.
• Maintain emergency systems including generators, backup power, and emergency lighting.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff and hotel departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and repairs.
• Assist with renovations, upgrades, and new installations.
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.

Job description

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure the safety, comfort, and uninterrupted operation of hotel facilities for guests and staff.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, lighting, power outlets, panels, and controls throughout the hotel
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
• Respond promptly to guest room and facility maintenance requests
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement safe, effective repairs
• Maintain emergency systems including generators, backup power, and emergency lighting
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and hotel standards

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and safety standards
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
