Job summary

Northwood Hospitality is seeking a Server to create memorable dining experiences in our Charlotte, NC property. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure satisfaction throughout the visit.

Qualifications include prior serving experience or strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain one. Medical, dining discounts, and PTO are among available perks.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer guest questions about the menu, specials, and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Resolve guest complaints and issues in a courteous and timely manner.
• Set up and maintain dining areas, including table settings and cleanliness.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures.
• Assist with side work tasks, such as cleaning, stocking, and preparing beverages.
• Work effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and bartenders.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
