Job summary

FORTH Hotel and Club in Atlanta is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our engineering team and drive strategic operations across the property. You will oversee maintenance, energy efficiency, and renovations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and compliance with safety standards.

You will manage a skilled team, collaborate with other departments, and implement sustainable initiatives while optimizing costs and uptime in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Director or Assistant Director required.
• Hotel, institutional, HVAC systems experience of 3–5 years.
• Refrigeration, HVAC certification.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems and maintenance processes.
• Budget management and financial responsibility experience; stationary engineering license preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and strong communication with team and guests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize engineering operations and efficiency.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation of infrastructure and systems.
• Lead the engineering team with guidance, training, and mentorship.
